Vermont Flooding by corinnec

Vermont Flooding

We just had 48 hours of continuous heavy rain. Many families in Vermont today are unable to stay in their houses and, some roads are still impassable.
We are fortunate to live on top of a hill in the village. We have only two exits from the village and the one via this bridge is the highest.
A nice shot of flood water , hope you are safe 😊

High water! Makes for a dangerous situation. I remember a number of years back, before my DH & I traveled through Vt there was flooding. Must be the rivers between those tall mountains. Nowhere to go. Be safe.

Good to hear that you are safe and hope your family will be too.

We just had four weeks of continuous rain and all the rivers in the area broke their banks. So many are homeless now.

So frightening to see the flood waters rising - something that we have become used to in York.
