This was beautiful the other night, it greeted me as I went to sit on the seat at the front door, I sit out on an evening and watch the house martins acrobatics as they catch flies and twitter excitedly, they always put on a good show! Apparently it’s called mackerel sky because it’s reminisce of fish-scales.
