The ice in the alley puddle had two distinctive looks. The top part of this shot shows how the ice was broken by vehicles passing over the puddle. The ice then froze back together. The bottom part shows the smoother ice with a sprinkling of snowflakes on top. An oak leaf was trapped in the ice as it slowly sunk to the bottom of the puddle.
