I will be retiring from hosting this discussion, and plan for this to be my last week. It is a great discussion to host if you love to see all the photos you missed over the week, you get to know a lot of new people here and it is actually really fun to host.
What is required? - For you to post sometime around 17:00 hours London time, whenever that may be for you (me it is about noon on the east coast of the U.S.A.). Making sure the first few weeks that the regulars realize that it is still posted.
Let me know if you are interested. Also it is wise to have an alternative for those times when you are on vacation, in the hospital, or just overwhelmed.
This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo.
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion
This is for @swilde who has been the most awesome alternate AND one of my most frequent commenters on this site. I faved almost only black and white this week, but this photo was so absolutely once in a life time and the amount of skill it took to get this just blew me away.
Nooo, you're retiring? :(
Have to give my fav fav to @reva this week. First because it's my 'hood, and I love it:)
Second because this is such a strange and wonderful capture, and I tried to capture it myself the other day and failed. Nice one Reva!
I adore all my Favs this week... really an outstanding week all around. I can't choose!! I think I have five or six this week that I would want on my wall... I'll go with this beautiful image from @percylaricy Love the rain, the blue, the clouds, the mood, the composition... everything!
It has to be this one from Humphrey Hippo @humphreyhippo this week, I still think it looks like the wasp is playing hide and seek!! Great photo too : )
i fav'd a lot this week... lots and lots of neat stuff out there! for this thread i picked this one by @flagged - just loved the innocent intentness of the photo...
@ladyjane You know, it's funny, I wasn't really happy with this shot, but wasn't sure what it was I didn't like and had thoughts of trying something else. I'm really glad I posted it though. I'm feeling much better about it. I appreciate you posting it here and also your fav.
the one that my eye keeps coming back to is this one from @bmnorthernlight
@brumbe thank you so much for hosting this discussion, it's my last go around on this too because I've finished and am only around to cheer on the others I came on with over the next few days as they reach 365/366
I really liked this photo by @asrenmarcha who has a wonderful eye and sensibility
Big thank you to @brumbe For hosting this page and encouraging others. You know you are a photographer and good one!
I faved 3 robin shots (just faved my 4th one) this week but I am posting this one by@cherrygirl. Not many views but I just loved the little dog's attitude and the big ball. Really fun action shot :oD
@brumbe I am more than happy to host for a while or be the alternate. Thanks to you and @swilde for running it so well for so long and keeping it going (even in January :oD)
@moirab It is officially yours and I thank you for taking over. I have enjoyed it immensely but am just so overwhelmed and am not as active on here as I once was. Hopefully, we can find you a lovely back up assistant also.
@moirab If you need help or an assistant (although don't know about the "lovely" part @brumbe), I'd be glad to volunteer. . .just let me know what/when I can help! (feel free to email lynopiano@gmail.com if you'd like)
@lyno@moirab I will let you two work out all the details. I took this over from Miranda last year when she stepped down and while I find the pop page and the top twenty interesting, I always think that to have a picture posted here is the ultimate compliment to a photographer on this site. Thank you so much for taking over.
@brumbe I agree with you - this is my favorite thread on the site and kudos to you for hanging in there for so long! Many, many thanks - just keep coming back and participating when you can.
I haven't been on here long, and am looking for my favourite FAV (that I forgot to FAV) It was on a few days ago, maybe, and of miniature animals round a drop of water, titled something like.....At the waterhole?! PLEASE HELP! I have learnt my lesson! I will be faving shots I like this week! :)
It was hard to choose this week (it's always hard to choose- who am I kidding!?). I'm drawn to this one because of the beautifully soft colors, the fact that I love Dogwood trees and because of the lighting and pov. Taken by @ulpiphotos
@lorraineb I have @moirab as primary and @lyno as back up for the discussion. I am not sure if they have posted yet, but I have faith they will rock this discussion.
@brumbe@lorraineb Moira and I have worked through this - Moira is taking this Friday and next. . .I'll check with her by email just to be sure all is well.
Have to give my fav fav to @reva this week. First because it's my 'hood, and I love it:)
Second because this is such a strange and wonderful capture, and I tried to capture it myself the other day and failed. Nice one Reva!
And speaking of the bike shot, here's my fave:

@brumbe thank you so much for hosting this discussion, it's my last go around on this too because I've finished and am only around to cheer on the others I came on with over the next few days as they reach 365/366
I think it's brilliant
I love the clarity and refreshing look of this
Big thank you to @brumbe For hosting this page and encouraging others. You know you are a photographer and good one!
