Oh wow these are phenomenal..... I just love looking up at the heavens and seeing how beautiful it all is. I have a telescope - and an old point-and-shoot so haven't been able to capture all the wonders I can see but here are 3 of my favourites....

@filsie65 Like your craters..... Don't know if this applies to you or not... but the full moon is apparently Sunday 6th here? I'm confused... I heard today was supposed to be the biggest full moon of the year.... perhaps they meant tomorrow? Don't know.

@ozziehoffy Hi Cass! I was told by Christie (a North American 365er) that it's going to be Saturday night... I'm in England so I suppose that could explain the date difference between you and me... just keep looking up and I guess between us we'll see it wax and wane little by little! The weather here has been awful and the forecast is for clouds and clouds. Fingers crossed. :)

@sdpace Stacey, I am looking to get a new lense. I currently have a AF-S Nikkor 1:4 - 5.6G ED 55-200, it was a kit lense, and I want to at least step up to a the next, what would you recommend for the exact bells and whistles on a lense if you were going to get one? I have a D3100. What lense did you use for your moon shots?

@irabat You need to adjust the exposure settings as if you are taking a photo in daylight. Its a big blob of light because you are overexposing it. I learnt this today! :)
