Bonnie (@kloud) lost her fight against cancer yesterday (5 August 2012). She was a wonderful friend of mine and a huge inspiration to me. I would like to dedicate this thread to her memory. If not for her I would not be taking photographs. I have posted one of her pictures that I love. Please feel free to add your favourite shot of hers.
She has some amazing work in her portfolio that I hope makes it to print. Her work in archiectural shots and doorways is wonderful. She has truly left a legacy and through her words has touched many lives.
I'd never heard of of her until I saw this thread but have looked through her photos (couldn't pick one out, too many great ones) and was really impressed by her creative vision and ability to make a brilliant photo out of a mundane, everyday sort of object. Very sad news.
I'm so sorry to hear the sad news... my sincerest condolences to her family and friends. I haven't had the chance to view her photos until now. She was so talented, every image speaks, breathes art.
I chose this one - a day I shall now cherish. The last CT meetup. I'm glad I got to meet the face and soul behind 'kloud'. Bonnie - you and your pics will be sorely missed - may you rest peace.
I never knew Bonnie but she has touched my heart today. I have so many favourites of her wonderful work but for me Kloud's photograph just spoke to me today... Rest in peace Bonnie you were a beautiful lady ♥♥
I'm sorry I never crossed paths with Bonnie here on 365, but I've looked through these pictures and she was an amazingly gifted photographer! I'm so sorry for her loss, to you, her friend, and to her followers.
@sjodell so sorry for your loss. she was one of my favorite photographers on here. I was going to pick the same photo due the strength and delicacy in that photo.
I will pick this one because I can picture her surrounded by friends and loved dogs here.
I was so shocked at this news. I know she had many friends on 365 and was a great supporter of the community here. I continue to be inspired by her creativity, talent and generosity. So sorry for your loss Sally @salza
So sorry to hear about Bonnie, She was one of my favorite follows. her work was so wonderful. how do you pick a favorite, but here is one of my favorites amount MANY!
i never saw any of her work but from the looks of things she was an amazing photographer. I am so sorry to hear about her passing and the loss this must mean to you. Wonderful way to honour her
I am deeply saddened and shocked by this news. Bonnie was perhaps the most influential photographer of my first year here on 365. The simple beauty of her photographs, her ability to see the most intricate and profound things in all of life through the lens of her camera (whether it was a slice of onion or the sunrise on a field where she trained her dogs), or the amazingly creative "uninspired" shots that she would pull off on a bad day always left me in awe of her talent. "I want to be like her when I grow up!" was what I would think as I fav'd another one of her shots (41 in all, but there could have been so many more had I followed her sooner). I just cannot express how deeply she affected me, although we never met or even spoke on the phone! Yet, her sincere thank yous when I would comment on her shots, and her kind words of encouragement on mine, bound us together in friendship in the wonderful world of 365.
This farewell is bittersweet. I am glad there will be no more suffering, and thankful that I will still see Bonnie on my "favorites" page. But we here on 365 have truly lost one of the best and brightest. I am honored to have "known" her through her pictures and send my deepest sympathy to you Sally @salza and others who knew her better than I.
Have just had a look at her photo's and - Wow, what a beautiful talented lady. My deepest sympathies to all who knew her and may she be at peace and watch down on you all. This photo below of Bonnie's was one that grabbed my attention - it is just gorgeous.
This one, it is a true testament for her love of photography, the community, and what a great artist she was. She will be missed by all who had the joy to experience her creativity.
One of our favourite dive spots.I met Bonnie and Kallie over 20 years back and shared a love for scuba diving and German Sheppard's ..(besides guns, bows ans 4x4's)..When Bonnie and her partner Kallie stopped Diving I saw less and less of them until about two years ago when we discovered another shared interest Photography .One of my gratitudes to 365... was sharing this last year with Bonnie and our shared friends.
Warm thoughts and heartfelt best to you and all of those who loved her ... I discovered Bonnie's work quite late into her project; here is one that I love:
I didn't know Bonnie but have checked her photos and she was an awesome inspiration and excellent photographer. I love so many of her photos but I will have to add this one as a particular favorite. I hope her beautiful dog is in good hands. RIP, Bonnie. This is a beautiful tribute to her.
Charli just above, picked one of my favourites. I'll miss Bonnie's originality. I liked that I never knew what to expect from her - nature, abstract, or an awesome shepherd shot. My condolences to her family and friends. I didn't realize she was so sick.
I am so sad to hear this and just loved Bonnie's work! She had amazing talent and I was grateful to be a part of her amazing project. My condolences go out to her friends and family. I love all her shots, but this one stood out for me:

The tones are so beautiful and it is such a peaceful, elegant photo.
Beautiful photography x
Love this photo so cute x
Her last picture posted, which many have linked above, spoke most eloquently. I'm glad she felt she accomplished something with 365.
I hope someone in her private circle collects her work for posterity. She's worth that.
