30 Days Wild is running for the fifth year and I'll be taking part once again. Each year, I've shared the event here and a few of you have enjoyed joining in with me, so I'm sharing it again this year for anyone who would like to join me.
It's not too late to sign up to receive your free 30 Days Wild pack from The Wildlife Trusts. You can get school packs too and this year, they've introduced a pack for care homes to get older people outdoors this June - how great is that?!
This is an event organised by The Wildlife Trust (in the UK) which runs throughout June each year.
You can find out a little more about 30 Days Wild in the link below and sign up to receive your 30 Days Wild pack and join in, though you don't have to sign up to join in, you can just join in and tag your photos here, starting on 1st June.
The idea is simple: just spend some time outdoors each day - from a full day of walking, climbing a mountain or a wildlife watching trip to the simplest of things like drinking your coffee in the garden in the morning, identifying a wildflower or feeding the birds - it's really up to you how you get in your daily dose of nature.
In 2015, I put together three blog posts each containing 30 'wild ideas' to offer a little inspiration for the challenge - I hope they will be of use to you if you'd like to join in!
All you need to do to take part this June is spend some time outdoors each day (even if it is only 5 minutes) and tag your photos from those outdoor minutes with 30dayswild2019
I hope I can tempt a few people here to join in with me and have a Wild June!
You can see previous 30 Days Wild photos via these tags...
I'm sure you are all aware that 30 Days Wild starts tomorrow, but just in case anyone has forgotten, I thought I'd just reply here as a reminder!
I look forward to seeing what you get up to on day one. I'm actually out of the house from about 9am to roughly 11pm tomorrow (doing wild things of course!) so won't get online until Sunday to share my day 1 and see yours.
@shutterbug49 I'm going to try and combine with the word challenge and that is where I might really find the challenge come in as I've looked at the list! are you doing both?
@roachling great to be on board and I think a weekly summary showcase thread is a super idea :)
If you have time a weekly thread would be fun
That's great! I'll look forward to seeing how you get outdoors each day :)
That's great, will look forward to seeing your wild photos!
