So, what's your favourite photo over the past week, between 7 and 13 May?
You can post your favourite photo by copying and pasting the code from the 'Share' box that's in your photo page, together with info on when it was taken. Part of the challenge is only selecting ONE picture, so no cheating!
There were one or two I really liked this last week, but it has to be one of the swan pics, and the best for me is where dad is so obviously concerned for his little sprog, who has just fallen in the water for the first time ...his expression is just beautiful. I was lucky to be there when he did that.:
This has been a bad week for me. I finished my A-Z challenge which went well. I then started a song lyric challenge, which is apparently really boring because my views have gone down since I started it. So, I guess I'll pick this one.
This has been a very "blah" week as far as pictures are concerned. I've been very uninspired, so I'm going with today's shot. Was close between this one or my shot from the 11th.
I had four I really loved this week, but since this involved thinking out props, layout, and composition it pushed me past my normal techniques in the actual photograph (not editing)
This one, I came home with 6 pots of sequins and spent half an hour giving them to my children to blow or throw or having my husband drop them over the children whilst they span and danced.
It's a photo from a happy half hour before we had to get back to teh practical stuff which needs doing every day and I enjoyed having all my family take part in my photo.
Although this was not my favorite at first, this shot has grown on me. I have really had to work hard to get good pictures of irises. This is my shot from May 12th.
Here's mine from the 8th. I knew all week this would be the picture I would post, until today's photo came along. As much as I like it, I still decided to go with this.
My most popular shot this week was of the Morning Dew Bokeh but this is my personal favorite. I shot this at the local cemetery with my new macro lens. SOOC!
i took this photo this morning with a camera i haven't used at all. i couldn't change it to take colour pictures but after i've seen the result, i'm not fiddling with that camera anymore. i like how this turned out:
I like a few this week but who could pass up the chance to choose my gorgeous daughter, on a day we normally UNLUCKY for some, we got the all clear on her allergy tests :)
this one of mine from yesterday (13th). I had another that got a brilliant response on the PP, but this one I'd specifically knew I wanted to take a shot of & this session was my first attempt at night/long exposure photography, so I'm very very happy with it...
For me, it's this one. My first attempt using the reverse macro technique, holding everything manually. My reversal ring arrived today, so I'm hoping for a better shot soon, using the ring and a tripod for a less stressful attempt!
My LIlac photo got way more views but I was thrilled to get this shot as I have seen it in my head for months and couldn't wait for spring to arrive just so I could take it.
I think my favorite out of this date range would be this one I did for the "travel" theme. I put a lot of thought into it before I even shot it. Then spent some time processing and writing about it. So, if anything, I'm just pleased with the effort I put into it. =)
@ldpaul Gosh Linda - I didn't see this, in particular because this one is usually one of the photographer's own, so this is extra kind. I must admit this was the cutest moment. THANK YOU big time for your lovely support.
Taken May 13th. I just started the 30 day challenge so this was for "Something I Collect" I also entered into the Weekly Theme for Travel... Since books are a cheap and awesome way to travel within your own mind. :) Enjoy!
I picked this one because it's not like my usual shots.
It's a photo from a happy half hour before we had to get back to teh practical stuff which needs doing every day and I enjoyed having all my family take part in my photo.
I just love this one!
Hands down this one
May 7
I know, I know...it's supposed to be only one, but two completely different styles...so I'm picking 2.
I saw this beautiful double rainbow after a rainstorm this evening.
Taken May 8th
Love the colours and textures of this guy!
cos i've never done a collage before
definitely this one because they are both so very happy in the picture
Twas easy for me this week. I really like how this came out.
Peanuts! Did you say peanuts!
This one was a surprise when I looked on the computer - the watering can called out to me!!!
Taken on the 7th
