Hopefully, as we go back in time we will see that our photography skills have improved and maybe even have a laugh or two at what we once thought was good enough to post.

Today I got a recent one, just from back this spring. This is one of the little birds that migrates through my area and is only around for a few days in the spring or fall.
I love Flashback Friday so much I found that I have done it twice this week (but in my defense, once was actually on Thursday night in Italy and the other now back home in Chicago on Saturday morning). I ask your indulgence as I post this second one which seems so timely -- Oktoberfest (which is going on now) in 2017!
