I was fascinated by this cobra - the man assured me that his poison glands had been removed, but it was still a rather angry snake. It was probably only about 1/2 a metre from where I was crouching in the grass to take this photo. Just to the left of the snake charmer is a very large python which we had just had draped around our necks for a photo op. It was very large and very heavy.
