There are plenty of trees on One Tree Hill including this mature clump. On the very top of One Tree Hill there used to stand a single tree beside the monument. This could be seen from almost all over Auckland and was such an iconic image. This tree was attacked and damaged by a protestor, eventually having to be removed.
