On a short walk in the middle of the day at Xaghra, one of the older towns in Gozo. Caught sight of this opening onto a roof with yet another circular window in the background. Usually those types of circular openings are found above a door to let more light into the room. The five pegs (the human element) add an element of domesticity.
@sangwann thanks for the comment. As you said, unfortunately it is getting more and more difficult to find spots that show a little bit of history. Much is being refurbished, torn down and completely demolished to be rebuilt into something which is incongruous to Maltese culture and tradition.
