Rain again but that doesn’t stop the myriad of birds that visit our feeders. Colin is filling them about twice a week at the moment. I tried to capture a parakeet that is a bit of a bully on the feeders but amusingly the squirrel and wood pigeons sit underneath hoovering up the bits he drops!

Here instead is a family of starlings queuing up to be fed by a lone adult. They are perfectly big enough to feed themselves but some were still doing that begging ‘flutter’ to avoid working for the food.
Looks like they are having a meeting?

Beautiful comp, and I love the holly background. Fav for me. Should a parakeet be flying around in the wild in England? But I guess you'd have to catch him to do anything about that, and that might be difficult.
