Today it is 'World Penguin Day'. These are two of my model penguins on the top shelf of the freezer!
We saw both Blue Penguins and Yellow-eyed penguins when we were in New Zealand a few years ago. If we are lucky we may see Rockhoppers and Macaroni penguins in South America later this year. For the moment though this is my Emperor and Blue Penguin next to the frozen pittas and ice-cream!
