19th January 2015

What an unusual day! I started by drafting some emails and then got a call from ITN news asking if I'd do a piece to camera about the seal at Teddington Lock as my photos have gone rather viral on Twitter and they'd been picked up. On the proviso that they mentioned my photography business a lot I agreed! Just after that call the Evening Standard contacted me to ask about usage of the photos and they appeared in the second edition of the day.

This is Jade Liversidge an ITN journalist and reporter who has to operate the camera and interview at the same time - she has certainly learnt the task of multitasking! The other is a screen grab thanks to my brother-in-law David.
Congratulations

@neatz @pamknowler @paulaw Thank you - I'm not normally into 'selfles' (although technically this wasn't) but it was such an unusual day I had to record it for posterity!! Needless to say Tuesday has been more mundane - backing up images on hard-drives and catching up with emails!!

Wow - you are doing well - people know you are a good photographer. The aim will be the best photograph of course! Sometimes I like to do a rotten photograph just for fun though!

Congratulations on your well-deserved fame, Emma! I don't think they could have found anyone better to talk about the seal or show him (or her?) through great photographs. And that is a lovely picture of you.
