This is part of my Dad’s ‘N’ gauge train layout. When my Mum moved to Cornwall back in 2006, she did not want to take it with her so we managed to transport it to our house and ever since it has been stored under our bed under a dust sheet. We do not have the space or really the time to do anything with it and it is only now that I feel I can part with it. It is very heavy and it was quite a job to move it downstairs (2 flights of stairs!).
I am hoping that members of a local model train club will be interested and will take it to use the parts at least. Dad spent ages on the models and they really are tiny. I think he would be pleased to think other people could get enjoyment and use from all his hard work.
Looks like a wonderful, detailed layout. Did your Dad make the models himself? I think he would have been pleased to know that people who share his interest were getting pleasure from it.
