Today is World Photography Day so I thought I would photograph my kit. Unfortunately as I wanted to photograph it all I had to use my iPhone and a bit of work afterwards for a high-key effect! I use a Canon 5D Mark 3 with my main work horse lens the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L, a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8mm for portraiture and events photography and my macro Canon 100mm f/2.8L.
Sometimes when I'm photographing in Edwards Gardens or High Park, I see other photographers with their impressive gear, and I consider suggesting a contest for biggest lens. I would not win, but I think you would certainly be in the running, Emma. I suppose it's the fast quality that makes the lens so big and heavy? I wish my 55-300 Pentax were much faster, but I don't think I could carry it around for very long.
