Today was classed as ‘At Leisure’ on our itinerary. Hooray - a lie in beyond 6.00am and a chance to enjoy a lazy breakfast and to try the range of freshly baked biscuits. We just pottered today, going down to beach-comb on the shingle bay behind the hotel and later to take the shuttle into town to visit the big museum.
The bird life here is amazing and I bought a couple of simple guides a few days ago so I can try and ID the common species. Everything looks interesting as it is different to species at home. This is a pair of Upland Geese and they are known as Los Cauquenes here - which is the name of our hotel so pretty apt that they were wandering around here!
Another warm and sunny day with the sea like a mill pond. This is our last day in warm weather gear as we head North in Argentina for our last two stops in Iguazu and finally Buenos Aires.
