Today I spent literally all day baking for Colin’s birthday party this Saturday. In the end I baked 4 Victoria sponge cakes (chocolate, coffee, lemon and traditional dusted with icing sugar) along with a ‘7’ and ‘0’ with piped lemon buttercream. During the cracking of the 24 eggs I used, I came across the first ever double yolked egg I have seen. It almost seemed a shame to beat it.
