This is it. Day one of decorating the living room.
We couldn't believe that it is actually almost 17 years since we last did it. Last time I chose the colour scheme of warm yellow and terracottas. This was mainly tied in with the red brick fireplace which I have decided to 'knock back' in strength by painting to make the room feel lighter, brighter and look more modern. It took 2.5 litres of white masonry paint and another tin of primer on the dark wood surround.
