We're nearly there! The alcove have been painted a beautiful duck egg blue (officially Dulux Blue Opal to be precise). The room is ready for the carpet arriving in a couple of day and the sofas next week. It has been a long job but a total transformation. I just hope that the carpet, curtains and sofas tone in as I have only been able to work with fabric samples and painted bits of mount board.
