The carpet was laid today in the morning and it looks amazing. All of a sudden the room has moved from a decorating zone back to a living room again. Without any furniture in it it looks really big.
This was also the last of my photo club Thursday meetings before the summer break. We have our awards dinner tomorrow which I have organised and so I mainly went this evening to collect the rickety old print stand that resembles a pile of sticks before assembled - I'm hoping that I can remember how to put it together after only doing it once before.
This lovely pink hollyhock is outside of St Luke's church where we hold the meetings.
