The weather was mixed today and although it was the Prudential Ride-London event I could not summon the energy to go and photograph it again on Kingston bridge. I carried on catching up with work and helping Colin to get ready for his week trip to Spain to join his daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and all the family in their villa in Murcia.
There was some unexpected gutter cleaning after the garage flooded yesterday and I followed H&S guidelines by balancing on a ladder resting on a brick leaning at an angle waving a long pole up and down. The gutter and down pipe was absolutely blocked with leaves and walnuts which I think the the team of squirrel thieves may have something to do with!
On Colin’s departure I’m staying to hamster sit and hopefully get my Christmas card orders all made up and labeled. As there are nearly 1,500 needed this is a long job. Nice clouds in the evening.
