7th September 2017

Today we set off for Penzance for Mum and Ian's wedding on Saturday. We have all been preparing for this day for some time and I also volunteered to take some photos on the day so I am a bit nervous. The journey takes anything between 5.5 hours and on one occasion it took us over 8 hours!

This trip we set off soon after breakfast time trying the M3 then A303 past Stonehenge. Colin had researched for places to stop along the way and discovered somewhere called the Hillbrush Centre - a royal charter company who make all sorts of brushes for all sorts of tasks. The building was brand new and amazing, A large car park, free wifi, small museum and fascinating shop. They also most importantly had a superb cafe where we enjoyed breakfast - I had eggs benedict followed by an apricot flapjack and flat white. Mmmm.

This journey was one of the best we've ever had and took well under 6 hours. We checked in to the B&B next door to Mum's and prepared for the weekend.
