The first full day of Sparkle today and I am pleased that I broke even mid afternoon today so everything else is profit (after deductions for material and frames etc.). As usual my cards are doing well, especially the 5-4-4 offer. It was quite slow going this afternoon mainly, I think, because of the rain this afternoon which puts people off from leaving their warm and snug homes.
In the evening all of Colin's family came over to celebrate his birthday. We had booked a table for 7.30pm at Piazza Firenze and despite our reservations it was really good. We all had different choices from the menu and all were good.
I have to admit that I felt pretty shattered after being on the stand all day but hopefully I'll be energised for tomorrow.
