This evening we were invited to our neighbour Fiona and Niall’s 25th wedding anniversary celebrations at The Wharf down near Teddington Lock. We have only been there a couple of times as other peoples guests so we were not sure what to expect. In the event it was brilliant. They had the entire of the upstairs of the restaurant and the evening was warm with a ‘mill-pond’ river by the lock. There was food - Thai curries and lasagne and a lot of alcohol. We didn’t get to bed until past 1.00am and it was nice to be able to walk home and not worry about getting a taxi.
