14th November 2020

Day 10 of lock down 2 (day 233 since the start of the 1st lock down)

So, no run this morning as I was simply not in the mood for it after yesterday. Had hoped that Colin would have a change of heart and consider what he was about to do but no, he left anyway and did not come back for 8 hours.

In that time I put the cupboard doors back on that we had taken off for the electricians work, changed the light bulb and went to Tesco’s to buy ingredients for Colin’s birthday meal that I do not feel much like cooking. The stress of the past 10 months is hitting me.

The figures below are reason enough to stick to the rules during lock-down.

51,766 PHE total dead in the UK (up 462) - on Thursday when the UK passed the 50,000 mark, we became the highest death toll in the entire of Europe and fifth in the world.
