First thing this morning (as I have now received a refund of the damaged paint pot) was to carefully decant the remaining white emulsion paint into my other paint pot. It turned out (rather obviously) that somehow the plastic paint pot had a large split cross the bottom but we still salvaged over three quarter of the paint and have avoided having to replace the tin!
I nipped out to buy some lunch and spotted the usual sight of a policeman walking the streets of Teddington which was reassuring - evidence here!
I then painted the ceiling in three parts, moving the furniture around the room whilst doing it - it is really surprising how discoloured it had become. We planned the next course of works with regards to the carpet and painting the woodwork.
