1 year, 227 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
Colin was at golf this morning so I spent my time blowing up 9 balloons and hiding them (and the presents) in various cupboards around the house ready to put out late this evening before Colin’s birthday tomorrow.. I then cracked on and wrote a couple of paragraphs to about my new Richmond montage - just a shame that the woman who suggested I support her charity has done absolutely nothing at all in return and I have not been able to do much more than personal publicity!
We discovered this afternoon that the new car that Colin ordered 4-5 months ago will in fact be delivered next Friday. This is good news although I will miss our current one. It also sprung up a whole lode of additional problems to do with transfer of personal number plates and reregistration to gain a different plate for our existing car. We knew nothing about this so have been rushing around in the afternoon to put various processes into play.
Unlike most evenings, Colin did not have a nap and so I had to ban him to the bathroom so that I could get all my bags of balloons out and put the decorations up - Pingado was very shocked to see me at that hour!
