1 year, 347 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
Warm and sunny today and it’s set to get hotter over the week! Colin was at golf this morning so I finished my packing and attempted to get my rucksack into my case. Big mistake. The zip at the back of my suitcase split and for some time I was panicking as to whether I would be able to fix it. After twenty minutes working with my multipurpose butter knife and a can of silicon spray I managed to repair it and this made the final decision for me as to whether I took my small case or not. The answer is not so I’ll be lugging my rucksack instead.
I checked in for our flight on Wednesday and booked Colin an extra kilo in luggage for his suitcase. I have a funny feeling that we will not have a problem but I’d rather be prepared.
I met Colin from the train back from Fulwell and we bought our train tickets for tomorrow.
