19th December 2022

This morning we went into Kingston for a few last minutes buys for Christmas and also to return a box of unused crackers from my photo club Christmas do. I had a brief look for a new top for New years Eve but could not find anything suitable at all. The shops are pretty empty due to lack of stock not overbuying and I was surprised just how quiet the town and shops were. Everyone is feeling the financial squeeze this year. These are carousel horses from a ride in the town centre but they had no riders.

In the afternoon I wrapped all the family presents. This years wrapping theme is M&S mistletoe wrap in white, silver and blue along with plain dark blue paper and all finished off with silver lamé ribbon. I had less to wrap this year but I think they look good.

Finally, the two books I had designed for Colin of our Switzerland trip have arrived and I am really pleased with the design and finish.
