This is an amazing sunset at the end of what feels like a long day.
It started with a family photo-shoot in Bushy Park and followed with editing and prepping a selection from the +400 that I took, along with finishing off a lot of work so that I am up to date before we go off travelling again. I'm still going and its now technically the 2nd of September although I don't count it until I've slept and woken up if that makes sense.
First day of autumn and funnily enough although a warm and sunny day, there was a definite chill in the air first thing. (Best viewed large if you have time)
Stunning sunset Emma. Fav for me. But isn't the first day of autumn September 21? Although once it's September, it certainly feels as if summer is over.
@tristansmum Thank you so much for the 'fave'. You are right of course, for some reason the newscasters have been calling it autumn. I do feel better now we are still in the summer. It has been very hot and sunny here today, definitely NOT autumnal today! @barrowlane I think your views will be considerably more interesting than mine over the houses opposite. A lovely county, my Aunt lives in Taunton and a lot of my relatives live in the West Country - Bristol, Portishead and Glastonbury.
