There isn't much information online about Leland College, an historically black school and college. It was founded in 1870 in New Orleans (during Reconstruction after the Civil War), moved to Baker, Louisiana in 1923 and closed in 1960. A man driving by told me there were more buildings in very poor repair, but I drove as far back as I was comfortable and could not find them.
