Kent State Memorial, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. Memorial for the 4 students killed and 9 wounded by National Guard soldiers on May 4, 1970 during an antiwar protest.

@hown Congratulations on your new K5! Looking forward to your photos. We have a college football player and go to as many of his games as possible. Saturday they played at Kent State, so we visited the memorial. Amazing you recognized it from the first photo I posted. The previous weekend we were in Oklahoma City and visited that memorial. All this and the 10th anniversary of 9/11 has been emotional--so many people lost....
