Spring Bouquet
These violets run wild all over the lawn as do the grape hyacinths. The yellow was snipped from my budding spirea bush.

You place the flowers on the glass surface of a flatbed scanner, and make a scan with the top off. This makes the background black.You can use anything-- shells, feathers, etc. My friend, Ellen, is a master of this technique:
