Spring Bouquet by falcon11

Spring Bouquet

These violets run wild all over the lawn as do the grape hyacinths. The yellow was snipped from my budding spirea bush.
What a gorgeous spring bouquet - love both the white violets and the grape hyacinths - they're both on my morning trail - love the way you put them together - wish I could make them look like this! Pretty, pretty.

The colours are so clear and vivid. Really like how you do this.

Exquisite... is this another scan? Beautiful colors!

@aspada Yes. I was making miniature place settings for a dinner party and thought I'd do a couple of scans while I had a few flowers gathered.

What is a '"scan"?

@jannkc You place the flowers on the glass surface of a flatbed scanner, and make a scan with the top off. This makes the background black. You can use anything-- shells, feathers, etc. My friend, Ellen, is a master of this technique: http://myneighborsgarden.com/Selections-From-Natural-Companions-By-Ken-Druse-Botanical-Photographs
