On the Street

I saw these flowers in downtown Guilford this morning. I am a long time gardener, but I confess that I have no idea what these are. It is unseasonably warm still -- 65 degrees today, so there was some insect activity, including a Monarch butterfly, a honeybee and this bumblebee.
