WoW ... or White on White.
White on white can be easy to find at times here in the frozen white north ... especially if farmers have not brought in their wrapped hay bales yet.
Sometime I admit I don't take the time to read the descriptions. There just isn't time to do everything. But I had to read yours because I could not figure out what these were. Mostly they do the round bales around here and I have see those in the snow but they have been grouped together.

The beauty of wrapped bales is that they will last forever if they are wrapped well. Snow and weather will not hurt them.
Farmers will always prefer to make dry, unwrapped hay if they can because it is so expensive to wrap hay.
However, sometimes hay is wrapped because it is wet and cannot be baled dry and then the bales will freeze and must be brought into a warm barn to thaw before it can be fed to the animals. The hay is still good - just needs to warm up some first.
