For several hours on Sunday, fast and furious sport took over city centre streets in York, with the arrival of the British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships.
Hundreds of spectators lined the streets for the various races, and I had a chance to practice taking photos of the cyclists hurtling through the narrow streets. I'd forgotten just how quick cycle racing can be, and just how hard it was to catch the action.
After the races, several large screens around the city centre showed the finish of the Tour de France in Paris. In just a year, there will be a Tour de France stage start in York, so another great photo opportunity to come!
