On my way to visit Louise, I passed through London, arriving at Kings Cross railway station and leaving again from Marylebone railway station.
I couldn't resist calling in at St Pancras railway station too - a station that I remember as always looking rather sad and neglected, but which has been transformed by it's renovation to become home to Eurostar services to France, which was completed in 2007. The neighbouring hotel has been transformed too.
Here, what used to be one of the main entrances to the station is now a quiet corner, so it was a good opportunity to get a shot of the arch without a cluster of people. I love the gothic architecture and the mixed colours of brick.
Thank you Colie - the restoration of this Victorian railway station is wonderful, and I have to call for another look and a few more photos each time I pass through London!
