Musée du Louvre

My first visitor came out to Paris this weekend, and we did a ridiculous whistle-stop tour of the city. We discovered that as long as you don't want to go right in to places, you can see a lot in one day! This is a shot of the Louvre museum with its infamous pyramids, a juxtaposition of old and new architecture. It's well worth a look at the outside (and I'm sure the inside is nice too... just not got there yet!) - Lucy
A super capture of this iconic gallery.

@bruni It is a striking building, the pyramids are quite modern but France has undertaken lots of artistic additions to buildings in recent times. They call them the 'grands projets' - the Georges Pompidou centre is another example. - Lucy
