Western Park Museum and Mappin Art Gallery, Sheffield

I was with mum at a hospital appointment in Sheffield and had to walk past the museum and park on the way into the city centre. My parents took me and my brothers to visit both the museum and art gallery as children. As teenagers, we went on our own. I particularly remember visiting the big Picasso exhibition in the Art Gallery around 1970.

@pyrrhula Thank you. I'm not sure if I liked the exhibition as found it fascinating. I remember going 3 or 4 times to look. I seem to remember they ranged from some of his early portraits to cubanism. Katharine
