Blossom Time

The sun on the dark pink blossom, against an otherwise boring brick wall, caught my attention on my way back from the shops. Ever curious I looked to the internet for information and I think they are red-flowering currant.

Beautiful capture of this Ribes sanguineum flower. I did have one in my own garden and did n`t recognize it Thanks to Wikipedia now I know. ( I prefer to use the Latin name of flowers as they are use by botanic`s all over the world) Beautiful close up capture . Fav.
