This is a different view of the two west towers of the Minster in York.
Dean's Park is at the rear of the Minster and provides seats for the weary away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Splendid views of the Minster are the reward for visiting this park.
Scaffolding to enable repairs to the stonework can be seen. York Minster is made of limestone (susceptible to acid rain), dates from medieval times and is in constant need of maintenance.
