The Christmas season is a time to remember. This game, remembered by Louise, and found for the grandchildren to play with, brought back so many happy memories. Watching them explore the game and play it created more lovely memories for the future.
@dolphin Thanks Molly. We have two versions of this game, the one pictured and one with numbers. We enjoyed both with our girls and the youth group we were involved with in the dim and distant past! Katharine
@bkbinthecity Its great fun Brian and you don't need to be able to count to play one version of the game, so its ideal for Evelyn at the moment.Katharine
@busylady We originally had the numbers version to play with the youth group we helped with, but a local, small, independent toy store had these and we bought it for Louise when she was small so it must be 28 or so years old. Katharine
@pyrrhula Thank you. We like to play board games too. It was quite a tradition in all our families and we like to continue it. We find it brings the family together. Katharine
@ceilidh Thank you. Glad it brought back memories. We had a number version and found this one in a small, independent toy shop many years ago. Katharine
@kt8ird Thank you. Glad it brought back memories. I used to play monopoly with by brothers and various friends. We were famous for games that lasted days, 6 being the record. Mum was very patient. Katharine
@fishers Funny, my parents were the worst, very competitive!! My older sister and her husband (I was 3 when they got married) were a close second in the cut throat monopoly games. Although I think our max was 2 days. :)
We have a similar game, but with math fractions instead (in numbers and/or pictures)
great memory shot
