Ray ( @ray_milsted ) wondered what my post of the Viking woodcarver would look like in B&W. Such things are not my forte, so I asked my resident expert for aid.
Ian got quite carried away in Picassa and I thought the results would make an interesting collage to post.
Ian, ever efficient, noted what he had done:
B&W
Sepia
Vignette & 1960’s
Pencil sketch
I hope you enjoy the results of his "playing". Which result do you like, and why?
I like the way you've done this. Reenactments are a wonderful sort of cross between theatre, living history and experimental archaeology, Looks like great fun.
Thank you all for your comments. I like to see the different effects Ian shows me and it seems a waste not to use them. I have to say that the pencil sketch is my favourite. Katharine
