Katharine and I spent several days last week visiting Lucy in Nottingham, where she is currently doing a masters degree at the university.
While she was in lectures one day we went exploring along the canal towpath, with it's fascinating mixture of old and new architecture. Here, new apartment blocks are reflected in the canal on a cool bright and sunny morning.
Thank you all for your kind and thoughtful comments. It was a really beautiful day to be out, with bright sunshine, but rather cold conditions.
