Scarecrow Festival - Many Different Essential Workers

I could keep posting shots of the scarecrow festival for quite a few more days, but I thought it best to close this mini series with a collage of some of the best of the rest. My own favourite is in this collage (twice) - the car mechanic.

This event was a great community effort and I'm sure it has had great benifits for the people of this area. I certainly met a number of people I didn't know before, and I wandered around parts of the housing estates where I hadn't been before.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.

The many and varied essential workers illustrated here make me realise just how many important jobs there are. We all form part of an intricate network of roles which has been badly disrupted by the recent crisis. Hopefully things will soon return to normal and we can all make our contribution to the society in which we live.
