The walkway at the centre of this shot passes in front of Earlsborough Terrace, a terrace of large houses (left), some of which are now hotels. A variety of trees in the gardens, and along the river bank (right) gives a range of autumn colours.
This shot is taken from the footbridge beside the railway over Scarborough Bridge. The direction of view is simular to that in my Through an Arch shot earlier this month ( http://365project.org/fishers/365/2020-10-02 ), but from a higher level. The trees on the left of that shot are on the right of this one.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
In this shot I have cropped quite a lot from the bottom, since there was a blue sign warning 'Cyclists must dismount on this footpath' which I found rather distracting. I'm not sure why they should want to use it, since there is a much wider cycle route to the right of the trees - but a minority still do.

Thank you both - the sun really brings out the best of autumn colours.
