Hickory, dickory, dock,
The mouse ran up the clock;

It is interesting what memories childhood nursery rhymes bring back, with my mum regularly reciting this to my younger brother, complete with actions.
This version is different to my imagining of it. I usually think of the clock as a long case clock, and childrens story books take that approach, but I do rather like this version with a cuckoo clock.
This is another shot from the craft exhibition at All Saints Church, Kirkbymoorside, called 'A Kingdom of Stories'.
By coincidence, this shot was taken just a few minutes before 1 o'clock!
