Mixed Up Seasons

Taken a week ago, this shot shows how confused our roses are. Here we are, towards the end of October, and our roses continue with lots of new growth. This was one of the first pieces of new growth, but there is quite a lot more this week. Hasn't anyone told them that it is autumn and not spring? It really reflects how relatively mild our autumn has been so far.
